Pros: compact, photos-video, FM radio, voice recorder and up to 20 hours of battery life
Cons: small LCD screen, funky controls, no wall charger
The Bottom Line: This is a great option to the over-priced iPods.

Pros: Small, cool looking, sounds great, user-friendly interface, long battery life, many player functions
Cons: Small screen to watch videos. There is a slight buzz/squeal on voice recordings.
The Bottom Line: This is one of the best if not THE BEST flash-based MP3 players on the market, especially for the money.

Pros: Feels solid, No special software needed to transfer MP3's, user replaceable battery, expandable memory
Cons: Limited to only QuickTime format for video
The Bottom Line: Less expensive, yet feature rich, compared to the iPod. Great sound, solid performance - it's a solid "buy" recommendation from me.

Pros: Tons of features. Looks great, sounds great
Cons: Barren of accessories. Only earphones, a power/transfer special USB cable are included. Nothing Else.
The Bottom Line: Get this unit. Great sound, small, durable. It has a good price. Tons of features and versatility. Really crisp screen, and it plays movies too!

Pros: Works well; light & sturdy; extra features and GOOD PRICE.
Cons: Headphones (easy to replace). Not too much else.
The Bottom Line: Look for them on sale. It's a good mp3 player but not an iPod, so SanDisk will have to compete.

Pros: Great Player - rugged, good looking, works with Windows Media Player !
Cons: No Album Art. Support calls routed (at their expense) to USA.
The Bottom Line: If you want your entire album collection with you, and you store (and have been adding) songs from CD with Windows Media Player - dont think twice. Buy this product.

Pros: No additional software needed. User replaceable battery. Bright and clear display. Great sound quality.
Cons: Doesn't come with a charging base. Instead it comes with just a cable.
The Bottom Line: I've looked at every flash player available and this one is simply the best. Highly recommended.

Pros: small, affordable, high capacity for a flash player, Linux-compatible
Cons: slow startup time
The Bottom Line: This is arguably the best 8GB MP3 player at any price. I recommend it for users seeking fairly high capacity in a compact, portable player.

Pros: Nice ergonomic design; solid; back lighted selection wheel feels great to finger
Cons: Buttons are hard to use as they are small; operating system is inadequate
The Bottom Line: Sansa . . . please . . . create a usable operating system for this lovely player.
